The past month I was neck deep in funnel plans and campaign strategies. As I was reviewing the requests that came in, I kept feeling their overwhelming sense of anxiety around visibility.
My prayer for my clients is that this be the year that they accept that the consistent content creation thing is played out. Business owners get so busy entertaining their audience, that they aren’t making themselves indispensable to leads.
Introducing Forget Me Not, my automated routines to keep leads engaged without the pressure of constantly creating new content.
The gist is automating your best-performing, proven-to-convert content, instead of coming up with something new every week or everyday.
1. Run ads and double down on what's working.
There has to be a set of content that is driving your sales, or else you wouldn’t be in business. Therefore, put those assets in front of new leads, instead of trying to create new content for the same people you’ve been talking to for years.
2. Automate your nurturing efforts.
I get it. You want to stay top of mind. After leads complete your sales funnel, keep nurturing them weekly through a pre-written 26-email sequence (6 months), not a newsletter email that you have to cook up every single week.
3. Consider a bingeable static feed or a podcast series.
Publish a set of marketing assets that accelerate the buying cycle, not a slow drip of content that keeps them distracted.
These are some of the marketing strategies we set up for VILLA clients. If you want a marketing partner that supports your desires to get tf off the content hamster wheel, we would be happy to have you.
Is your consistency watering down your potency and slowing down your sales cycle?
The high-volume, low-impact approach to marketing creates a predictable pattern that turn “consistency” into background noise.
Trust me, Instagram does not need another quote post or b-roll reel so you can check the “I posted today” box on your to-do list. Be for real, how many 15 second clips do you just swipe by everyday? Studies have actually shown that increased frequency on Instagram doesn’t actually increase reach or engagement.
Engagement is actually higher when posting less.
High-impact messaging — Shifting perspectives, challenging the status quo, being a thought leader — that’s what makes people sell themselves on an offer. It’s marketing’s job to help you figure out that messaging and get it in front of the right leads at the right time.
