Raise your hand if you have a clingy, high-maintenance business that you are ready to throw away at least once a year.
Been there, done that - it's the ghetto.
Running a business can feel like you're in this codependent relationship, where your company can't generate revenue without you constantly being involved. You’re sacrificing your needs for the business.
The sad part is, that we have glorified personal branding and DIY culture to the point that we have created prisons out of what was supposed to give us freedom. (Another email is coming on that next week.)

Review everything every time, review first drafts only, review certain types of materials
Do I need to do it, or is an anxious attachment style running my business?
I get it. You are deeply invested in your brand. However, being overly hands-on sometimes is rooted in an anxious attachment style. Anxious attachment in business is the tendency to be overly involved in operations out of a fear of losing control or failing, often resulting in micromanagement and difficulty delegating. Nothing triggers an anxious avoidant more than uncertainty and fear of rejection, two things that the unpredictability of marketing brings.
Do you have a codependent business or does the business have a codependent business owner?
